There is a good selection of sports and gifts shops, creperies and patisseries all open until
7pm offering plenty of time for a full days skiing and some shopping in the evening.
For those thirsty skiers there is a great choice of pubs. A favourite pub for Apres Ski straight from the
slopes is the Crepuscule, where dancing on the tables in ski gear is obligatory. After dinner
popular choices are the Buddha, Dixie Bar, the Cavern and the Bowling Bar and then onto the
Opera nightclub if you still have the energy!
For those who don't ski or snowboard there is plenty on offer: ice-skating; snow-shoeing; massage and jacuzzi; visiting the local fruiterie where they show you how they make the local
cheeses; walks around the beautiful Lac Du Montriond; snowshoeing with a local guide;
parapenting and skidooing for the adventurous, and the weekly local market. Geneva , Chamonix
and Annecy are all within an hour and a half drive away.
