1. Morzine

Morzine is a beautiful, traditional alpine resort set in the heart of the vast Portes Du Soleil ski area. The mix of French, British and Scandinavian visitors combined with the traditional chalet style buildings stand it apart from many other purpose built, almost entirely British resorts. Morzine is situated 1 hour 30 minutes from Geneva at an altitude of 1000m. Morzine is ideally situated for mixed ability groups due to its location with access to the slopes of Morzine and Les Gets via the Pleney lift on one side of the town and access via the Supermorzine lift to Avoriaz, Chatel, Le Croset and other Portes Du Soleil resorts. The Morzine and Les Gets ski area is fantastic for beginners and intermediates while Avoriaz and the other resorts not only have a good selection of blues but a wide choice of more challenging red and black runs and off-piste terrain.
